STORY 2 : A great opportunity to wake up to intercultural exchanges

The first article I posted the other day introduced the person who gave me encounter with the world, “Kinjo Takuma”.
Today, I met the Tanzanian guide “Dionis” in Tanzania. And I'll introduce the “big opportunity” I got from him.
This time, because Japanese people rarely go to Africa, so I will introduce mainly photos and videos!

Pore Pore Tanzanian with Mother Earth

I took a month in a country town where there was no signal of Moshi at the foot of Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.
The Tanzanians say that it like Mt.Fuji with a little snow remaining on the top.

All Tanzanians are cheerful!
The countersign is "Pore Pore!", it will be "なんとかなるさ~!(It would work out OK)" in Japanese.

Anything that can't be helped will be handled by "Pore Pore!"
If they are handled, then the life of Japan which fighting for every moment will become ridiculuos! ? Lol

Tanzania's rule is "No rule is rule"

Do you understand this photo? Although there is no signal, driving in Tanzanian is dangerous because it rush out.
Therefore, deceleration zones are forcibly made everywhere on the road unless you slow down like this.

I was told by a local Tanzanian guide. There is nothing in this country yet. And there is no traffic light or police in this city.
That’s why the rule of this country is “No rule is rule”!

For the Japanese who is always enthusiastic about unintelligible rules like me, it's came as a bolt from the blue!

You can enjoy anything because there are no rules!

So I made such a BBQ stove in the garden of the guesthouse without anyone's permission!
Certainly, the work cost about 5,000 jpy for about 10 days!

Furthermore, I went to a volunteer school introduced by the Tanzanian guide
and held such a Japanese Taiko (Japanese drum) class!

There is no such concept in this country "No rule is rule",
such as getting permission from someone or caring what others think about you!

That's why "What are you going to do?" or "Will you do it or not?" Is all about your own feelings!

Instinct to live is awake!

Japan has convenience stores & restaurants open 24 hours a day,
so it's so convenient that you can always eat what you want with one coin.
Thanks to that, I feel that there is an adverse effect that anyone can now live without talking.

In Tanzania, meat is not sold on a plate, so if you are hungry, you can't get it without telling "how much do you want?"

A whole chicken is sold like this! So you can't eat delicious chicken unless you do it yourself!
I was the first to judge, but “Let me see, what did Kentucky's fried chicken look like?”
I was able to cut it and make it safe!

In a country where there are no rules, do you think that if you live with your own strength
while working with someone, you will wake up to your instinct! ?

Encounter with "big opportunity"

It was an happening in the safari tour that I introduced in the header with the Tanzanian guide
Dionis and the last two days without a Japanese guide.

Past 40 years and this was the first time I spent my time without Japanese.
For me it was a more precious experience than meeting wild animals and Masai!

And on the way back from the tour, Dionis told me

"Shinji, you didn't try to talk to me at all for the first week because you couldn't speak English or Swahili?"

“But you have been able to communicate happily with me for the last two days!”

“That’s fine with words!”

When I heard this story, something awakened in my brain!

"That's right! The words would work out OK! The important thing is the mind!"

After that,i gave the rest of the US dollars & Tanzanian Shilling as a tip to Dionis
who gave me a life-changing “big opportunity” and took a return plane!

In return cabin. How do I make use of the “big opportunity” I received in my encounter with Mother Earth and
Pore Pore Tanzanian? I was thinking for a long time.

So I remembered the existence of “Airbnb,” which was introduced by an acquaintance about half a year ago and
was still unknown in Japan, and decided to start hosting!

"I don't care about words! The important thing is the mind!"

Immediately after returning home, I got up with a free bed I found in Zimoti in a room that had become a storage room,
and after about a month with all the necessary items, my Airbnb host life started!

At this time, intercultural communication that could not have been imagined that every day would be a laughing life begins!

From the next time, I will introduce the “laughing different culture communication life” little by little!

Japan has a large typhoon called the largest in the history of the earth!
Let's finish our work and get back to our house as soon as possible!

Pore Pore! Lol

Thank you Dionis!!
