Cherry blossoms have started to bloom in Tokyo!




The cherry tree in the park where I run every weekend. It's not all bloom yet, but it's starting to bloom one after another and will be in full bloom next weekend!



Although there are few foreign tourists coming to Japan this year, I'll introduce some cherry blossom spots to students staying at my home !

Personally, I recommend Shinjuku Gyoen, where you can see dozens of cherry trees near the inn!

Cool guy from England!

Shubeeh came to Japan to see the cherry blossom season two years ago.

He stayed for about a week, but the first time we met at check-in, his nickname was decided!

"Mr. Obama!"

He responded to my expectations with "Yes! We can!" lol

Keep moving forwards

With Obama, we went to see cherry blossoms, went to have lunch and dinner, and of course we had fun drinking together!

When he drank, he told me his story and I was surprised at the reality!

"I'm actually from Pakistan, but the war destroyed my country and my family, so I fled to England as a refugee."

I've lived for more than 40 years and it was the first to meet a real refugee.

He has lost both the country and his family, his eyes are clear, and I still remembers his face full of tenderness.

Travel to know the world

Obama was actually traveling around the world!



After leaving Japan, he traveled from South America to North America and showed off his cool videos and music on Facebook along the way!

I feel that the purpose of Obama's journey was more than simply seeing the nature of the world and meeting people.

Living in Japan makes peaceful everyday life free of conflict, but in the meantime, there is still struggle between people in different parts of the world.

Even in this corona shock, even if you get things at a supermarket, discriminate against people by race, and repeat the same mistake many times, you will feel that human being is weak.

But people who have overcome such painful experiences as Obama are definitely different.

Give others a smile and happiness because of painful experiences.
