STORY 6 : It's hard to get back to be Japanese! ?

I have introduced the meeting of muslims drinking beer,

graduation trip otaku Korean before military service and a miracle Taiwan couple which are lesbians
among hearing-impaired people!

As the 4th group, this is the first appeared of a Japanese guest return from abroad!

I thought i'll feeling relieved because he is Japanese, but it was a precious encounter that I was told
that “how hard it is to be a Japanese!”

What's "JICA"! ?

This time I met a Japanese person who has been involved with developing countries for many years
at JICA = Japan International Cooperation Agency. JICA may not be familiar to you, but it is a
wonderful organization that is called the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers and is doing projects
where Japanese young people go to developing countries to support technology and education.

I knew that when I went to Tanzania, I made friends with the volunteers and drank alcohol many times!

This photo shows the volunteers I met in Tanzania and the rare Japanese people there! It was a
miracle that so many Japanese people gathered in a place faraway from Africa! ? (My own BBQ stove
was a big success! Lol

It's hard to become a Japanese! ?

The Japanese who stayed this time was engaged in a marine biology research project in the Philippines
at the time, and the project seems to be finished. Furthermore, due to the timing of two daughters' attendance
at school, it seems that they returned home in advance to find a house to live together in Japan.

And then he told me how hard it was for a Japanese with a Japanese passport to return to Japan who
once lived abroad once again!

・ You cannot rent a house with just your passport.

・ You need a resident card to rent a house

・ Proof of residence is required to obtain a resident card

The procedure necessary for him to become a “Japanese living in Japan” is very difficult!

・ First, go to the government office where you live and register as a resident (What would you do if you
don't already have a house?)

・ After that, look for a house to live (What would you do if you didn't have a sibling and there was no
one who would be your guarantor?)

・ When the property is decided, go to the office of the parents' house, report the move-in, then go to
the office of the new house and report the move-in. (Cuz it's a government office, so scared to do one
week resident tax daily rate invoice !?)

Besides that, because he had two daughters, they had to continue their enrollment and transfer
(by the way, father's work is undecided at this point!)

Getting back to Japanese is a pain!

The story is different, but the technology is so popular in the 21st century, and what is still a resident's card
is very Japanese.

My number system, which should have started over 100 billion jpy, has become mutilated, since all the
money flow is leaked,I should have ignored the rich who oppose i and forcibly issued it as a universal ID card! ?

Even if contribute to the world, just can't contribute to Japan! ?

“Can't become a Japanese businessman now, right~!?”

In his youth, he worked in Costa Rica in Central America for the JICA. The cooperation team is basically
a two-year mission, but after that, he seems to have worked on projects in every country using his skills.

I didn't know that there are many other people who can't go back to Japanese society because there are
many other people who have the same genre and missions or continue to be involved in JICA-related
projects, that can be used in other countries after returning to Japan!

However, it's not a bad life because in the same time I met a woman who I met at JICA in the Galapagos
Islands, famous for the Moai statue! ?

But how can Japanese, like them, who have contributed to society around the world through
their skills overseas, thanks to Japan's solid social system, can't contribute to Japan? ?

Cross-cultural communication that has just begun!

There are so many people and so it's interesting!
